Am 2. Mai 2012 fand bereits zum dritten Mal das Creative Lucerne Meetup statt. Diesmal haben wir uns bei den Komplizen (Agentur für Werbung) in Emmenbrücke getroffen. Nach zwei Tassen Kaffee haben uns Pius und Tobi die Idee "CI/CD Plattform für Kunden" vorgestellt.
Recently I'm quite active on drupal.org. We are now in the project application process for drupalmonitor_connector module. In weniger als 3 Monaten ist www.schlussgang.ch entstanden. Netnode konzipierte in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Schlussgang Redaktionsteam die neue Webseite. Die Webseite dient als ergänzende Publikationsplattform zur gedruckten Zeitung. Wir haben vor allem den Fokus auf aktuelle, ergänzende Themen gelegt. Neben "Live" Berichterstattungen von Schwingerfesten an den Wochenenden findet man umfassende Informationen zum Schwingsport.
This morning, the second "Creative Lucerne in the Morning" meetup took place. I was talking about "Entrepreneurial Mindset". I digged into "lean startup principles". I took www.drupalmonitor.com as an example to outline various aspects of "lean".

Personally, I'm very happy to have an entrepreneurial community around me. There is a lot of potential in our Lucerne community. We just have to align our "mindset" and learn from startup hotspots like the Silicon Valley or NYC.

Heute (07.03.2012) morgen um 8 Uhr fand der erste Creative Morning Lucerne statt. Die Idee zu diesem Event entstand schon vor Jahren in diversen Gesprächen zwischen Maurus Domeisen und mir. Inspiriert vom StartUp Camp in Basel haben wir uns nun einen konkreten Termin vorgenommen. Eben heute morgen.
netnode is creating a Drupal monitoring service specially for Drupal websites and applications. The product is available in beta on www.drupalmonitor.com. We just made a couple of updates and also want to spread the news on our corporate blog. In short, we have new versions of the Drupalmonitor connector module for Drupal 6 and Drupal 7.
Every day, we deal with version control. It’s good to know about the best practices, especially in Drupal projects. Pascal updated us about how we work with SVN and gave us some very interesting tips and hints.
Together with clou kreativ (www.cloukreativ.ch) we created www.biginlucerne.com, a photo contest campaign in Lucerne, Switzerland. We used Drupal as a tool to allow users upload, rate, comment, share images. In this presentation Slava Rys explains some core functions, problems that occured during development as well as some insight about how the site was built.
